The National Glass Association (NGA) is proud to announce that Lee & Cates Glass is the March 2012 Member of the Month. Lee & Cates Glass was founded in 1926 by the brother-in-law combination of Thomas Lee and Raymond Cates. The company is celebrating its 86th year in business in 2012 and its 40th year as an NGA member.

Lee & Cates Glass, Inc. is one of the largest independent glass companies in the Southeast. Their corporate offices are located in Jacksonville, Florida, and they have 14 locations in north Florida and south Georgia. As a full-service glass company, Lee & Cates serves customers with residential glass and commercial glass.

“Our involvement in the National Glass Association goes back as far as I can remember,” said Tom Lee, III. “I readily remember my father attending the glass association national meetings in locations such as Detroit, Michigan. My father’s active involvement in the association was a precursor to my getting heavily involved, including a stint on the board of directors.”
