The holiday season gives us all even more reasons to reach out and help those who are less fortunate. And once again, the Angel Tree Program is making it easier to pitch in.

Here’s how you can get involved:

1) Stop by an Angel Tree at The Avenues Mall, Regency Mall or any of the Jacksonville-area Ashley Furniture Homestores.

2) Pull a child’s name off the tree, and purchase at least one gift for that child.

3) Take the new, unwrapped gift(s) to one of the Angel Tree sites or any Lee & Cates Glass location in the Jacksonville area, the Salvation Army offices or their Adult Rehabilitation Center by the end of the day Friday, December 14th.

The Salvation Army will distribute the gifts to needy kids throughout the area, and YOU will have the privilege of knowing that you helped a child have a happier Christmas.
